Viking swing, slide and barrier operators built around the V-Flex control board — installed, integrated with access control, and repaired.
Viking Access builds heavy-duty DC operators that installers reach for when a gate cycles hard — the G-5 linear swing and the F-1 are common on Southern California residential and commercial gates, with slide and barrier units for larger sites. The on-board diagnostics on the V-Flex board make them quick to troubleshoot.
Viking is now part of FAAC International, so the two lines increasingly share parts and service logic. We install, integrate and repair the full Viking range.
That's one layer of five. See gates for the full scope, or browse the other brands we work with.
The lines we work with most. Don't see yours? We can almost certainly still support it — ask.
Sleek linear-arm DC operator for residential and commercial swing gates.
Feature-rich residential and commercial operator with the V-Flex board and a removable low-voltage power box.
DC slide operators with obstruction sensing and soft start and stop for high-traffic vehicle gates.
Barrier-arm and specialty operators for parking and controlled-lane applications.
The common controller across the range, with on-board diagnostics installers use to isolate a fault fast.
Operator sized to the gate, V-Flex board programmed, safety devices to code, battery backup and manual release fitted.
Keypads, intercoms, readers and phone entry wired to the operator so every opening is credentialed.
V-Flex board faults, motor and gearbox wear, limit and encoder issues, battery and charging failures.
Adopt a Viking gate from a previous installer, run the diagnostics, and put the safety devices and backup on a schedule.
Straight diagnosis, a written quote before we start, and the common parts already on the truck. Here's how a repair call runs.
The board flags a safety input, a limit error or a low battery. We read the code, fix the input, and leave the board alone.
Worn gearbox or a limit that's drifted, letting the leaf creep open.
A failed charger or transformer — the operator runs until the battery is flat, then stops. Usually the charging circuit, not just the battery.
A worn DC motor, or an operator undersized for the gate's weight and cycle count.
Sensitivity set too tight, or a mechanical bind in the hinge or track the operator reads as an obstruction.
A Viking operator moves the gate and reports its own faults. Add access control, a camera on the same point and a stable network, and the gate becomes part of a system that records who came through. That's the Complete Security Gate System.

Yes — the acquisition has made parts easier to source if anything. V-Flex boards, motors and battery kits are all available, and we stock the common failure items.
It's the control board across most of the Viking range, and it reports a fault code. That shortens the diagnosis and usually means replacing a failed sensor or limit rather than the whole board.
Both. Viking G-5 and F-1 operators are a regular new install for us on residential and commercial swing gates.
More likely the charger or transformer. If the operator runs on line power but the battery never holds a charge, the charging circuit is the usual cause.
New install, integration, or a system that's stopped working — tell us what's on the property and we'll price the work.
