The trouble with consumer smart cameras
A doorbell camera is a convenience product wearing a security costume. Four weaknesses matter.

Wireless cameras and doorbells depend on a signal an intruder can disrupt with a cheap jammer — a documented break-in method. No signal, no recording.

Every camera is one part of a wired, self-contained system we design and install end to end. No subcontracted seams, no consumer shortcuts.

A deliberate coverage plan.
Camera positions, angles, and pixel-density are calculated per location so faces and plates are legible where it counts — no decorative cameras.

Wired PoE, no Wi-Fi dependency.
One cable carries power and data to each camera. Nothing critical rides on wireless.

A private recorder and network.
Footage records to servers on your property on a segmented, hardened network — not exposed to the open internet, not phoning home.

All low-voltage cabling is designed and installed in-house, labeled and documented — the backbone the whole system depends on.

Battery backup.
The system runs on a UPS, so a power blip or PSPS shutoff doesn’t stop the recording, with cellular failover for alerts when the line is down.

We never specify manufacturers on the federal covered list. No Chinese-government-linked cameras on your network.

Built for properties that can’t rely on the grid
Because the system stores footage locally and runs on backup power, it fits the places consumer gear fails — off-grid estates, PSPS-affected areas, and sensitive or high-profile properties where footage must stay private and recording cannot stop.
Recording supports deterrence. It does not replace it.
A camera changes an intruder’s calculation only if the barrier and access layers make entry genuinely difficult. Alone, it documents a loss.

We design, install, and harden recording infrastructure. We are not a licensed alarm-response or patrol provider, and we will not imply otherwise.
